How does CoolSculpting® work?
CoolSculpting® is often referred to as “fat freezing.” It is based on years of research on the process of cryolipolysis. This process involves the application of cooling temperatures to targeted fat cells. Researchers found that fat cells respond differently to controlled cooling or freezing than other types of cells. This freezing results in the cells crystallizing, leaving the surrounding skin, tissues, and structures intact and untouched. The body’s natural metabolic processes destroy and harmlessly eliminate the crystallized fat cells. How does treatment feel?

Afterward, you may experience mild and temporary redness, bruising, tenderness, and numbness at the sites.
When will I see results?
The elimination of fat cells from the body is a process that takes time. Many of our patients notice changes in the contours and appearance of localized fat pockets between one and three months post-treatment. Improvements continue, and you should see full results in around six months after your CoolSculpting® session.
