Glytone Clarifying Gel

Glytone Clarifying Gel

A nighttime gel formulated with 4% Hydroquinone helps to lighten dark patches on the skin

Benefits:
Hydroquinone helps lighten dark patches on the skin (such as melasma (chloasma), freckles or solar lentigines) caused by pregnancy, birth control pills, hormone medicine, or skin injury
Fragrance-free

Directions for use:
Apply nightly to the affected area or as directed by a physician
Contains Sodium Metabisulfite, a sulfite that may cause serious allergic type reactions (e.g. hives, itching, wheezing, anaphylaxis, severe asthma attack) in certain susceptible persons

Indications:
For normal to oily, hyperpigmented skin:
Melasma (chloasma)
Freckles
Sloar Lentigines

Technical Information:
One of the only Hydroquinone gel preparations in the industry
Hydroquinone is effective at decreasing the production of melanin associated with hyperpigmentation
Hydroquinone is a known Tyrosinase inhibitor
Tyrosinase is the enzyme responsible for stimulating the melanocyte to produce pigment
Melanocytes are pigment producing cells in the skin
By inhibiting this enzyme, it cannot stimulate the melanocyte to produce more pigment, therefore reducing the signs of hyperpigmentation for a clearer complexion

Ingredients:
Hydroquinone 4%
